Children at the club: Children/Under 18s are allowed down at the club, however they must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. It is not acceptable for the parent/guardian to leave their child on the bank while they go rowing. Children between the ages of 13-17 (inclusive) can join the club as junior members and can row if accompanied by their parent/guardian in the boat. The Club accepts the policy and procedures relating to Child Protection, as set out by British Rowing, and requires all members to accept them as a condition of membership.
Not sure if rowing is the sport for you? Then why not come along as a temporary member (and fill in our temporary membership form) for a couple of sessions. It’s free and lasts for two outings……by then we’re sure you’ll be hooked and want to join up for the whole year.
If you would like further information about the club please feel free to contact any committee member. Any enquiries or queries about membership should be addressed to our membership secretary.
